the expression:
[tex]=2a+3(2+a)[/tex]
Distribute
the Parenthesis:
[tex]=2a+(3(2)+3(a))[/tex]
[tex]=2a+6+3a[/tex]
Combine
like terms:
[tex]=(2a+3a)+6[/tex]
The Answer Is:
[tex]\boxed{=5a+6}[/tex]
