Improper fraction is a fraction that has a numerator greater than its denominator.

An example of a improper fraction would be,   [tex] \frac{34}{5} [/tex]

An improper fraction has the numerator greater than the denominator. For example, 34/8 would be an improper fraction. It's numerator is greater than its denominator.
