There are 6 red cars and 8 green cars in a garage. What fraction of the cars are red?

6 + 8 = 14 cars total
so 6/14 of the cars are red, and if it needs to be simplified, then 3/7
(6 divided by 2 is 3 & 14 divided by 2 is 7)
