1/2>-1/6-2/9x

Move -1/6 to the other side. Sign changes from -1/6 to 1/6.

1/2+1/6 >-1/6+1/6-2/9x

1/2+1/6 >-2/9x

Find the common denominator for 1/2 which is 6.

Multiply by 3 for 1/2.

1(3)/2(3)=3/6

3/6+1/6 >-2/9x

4/6>-2/9x

Reduce 4/6 by diving by 2.

4/2=2

6/2=3

2/3>-2/9x

Multiply both sides by -9/2.

2/3(-9/2)>-2/9x*-9/2

Cross out 2 and 2, divide by 2 and then becomes. 1*1=1

Cross out 3 and -9, divide by 3 and then becomes. 3/3=1, -9/3=-3

1*-3=-3

-2/9x*-9/2= 1*1*x=x ( because of crossing out the numbers)

Answer:

x >-3
